What is the Feldenkrais Method?

The Feldenkrais Method is an innovative learning approach based on movement and neuroplasticity. Through gentle, exploratory movement sequences, the brain reorganizes action patterns, optimizing mobility, posture, and efficiency in daily life. Instead of repeating habits that generate tension or pain, the method offers new options for moving with greater freedom and less effort.

This approach is based on the brain's ability to change throughout life, creating new neural connections that improve coordination, balance, and ease of movement. Through this process, anyone can discover more effective ways of moving and interacting in the world, regardless of age or physical condition.

How is the Feldenkrais Method practiced?

Learning is done in two ways:

  • Group classes (ATM - Awareness Through Movement): Verbally guided, they help refine attention and coordination while exploring new ways of moving.

  • Individual sessions (FI - Functional Integration): Personalized work with subtle contact to facilitate changes in movement organization.
