What is Pregnant Pauses?
Pregnant Pauses is an innovative approach based on the Feldenkrais Method, created specifically to support women throughout pregnancy. Developed by Alan Questel, it uses gentle, mindful movement sequences to reduce discomfort, improve posture, and prepare the body for birth with greater ease and comfort.
Unlike other prenatal methods, this approach doesn't focus on effort or muscle strengthening—it teaches how to move with less tension and more efficiency. Discover new ways to move with lightness, ease, and comfort.
How is it practiced?
Pregnant Pauses sessions are done in a variety of positions (lying down, seated, or standing) and involve small, exploratory movements guided by my voice. They’re adapted to each stage of pregnancy and require no prior experience.
During the sessions, you’ll learn to:
